Another V’day passed without a partner by me,
Single as always I have been,
Searching in the sea for the prefect gem,
Self Awareness Day wasn’t all too bad,
I know I sound kinda sour grape, but...
Cut me some slack okay... =)
Anyway, there was an event back at my high school,
My school was declared officially as Malaysian’s Heritage,
A well planned evens for us singles to gather,
Ex’es from way back gather as one under one roof,
Once a Victorian, always a Victorian....
Seeing back old friends definitely relinquished lost memories,
Joking insults flying in the air as we chat,
Added up with all the sarcastic comments,
Basically 1 words describes it – FUN,
As for now, no more SMK VI,
We all can officially call our school as,
The Victoria Institution.... with greater pride than ever,
Although I have been doing it all the while...
After the tea, we decided to hit the square...
All 10 singles(not all larr) went out for some fun,
It was some time ago since we had an outing,
We chose the movie "Valkyrie"
Twas a great movie indeed,
An attempt to assassinate The Hitler,
A failed one of course, but nevertheless...
SUPERB....
The command given, the leadership shown,
Top class and incomparable,
As so to bring me to my senses,
“Will I ever be so? Will I lead or follow?”
Not Hitler definitely...
He was proud and courageous,
With such passion he has for his country,
With such wits and courage at work,
For the truth he dares comprehend,
So far the best war movies I’ve been to...
Simply amazing – Nothing less...
